Mason City,IA AKC show this past weekend 4/19 and 04/20 was a super exciting venue and learning experience for the Windgate team. Jack Flash, handled by Eddie Sanchez and Seamus McTavish were entered and they all looked great. Seamus rocked the “soaking up the show scene” cautious but confident and strutting his stuff. At 8 months he is a bit of a goofball but very much a beauty. He won his class but no points. Jack Flash under the expert handling of Eddie, was magnificent. He just turned 3 yrs old and his structure and movement are even better than last year. His coat is soft and silky, after weeks of washing and conditioning. Judge Lessing, a truly kind soul and wonderful judge from last year, will be proud when she sees him in Bismarck later this summer. More on our grooming intervention with Judge Lessing on a later post. On Saturday the Jack team won BOB and BOBOH against a lovely line up of champions and class dogs. Then he entered the regular group and placed 4th in a large lineup of toys under Judge Danelle Richard’s. Judge Richard’s has been added to my favorites list, such a class act and so good with the dogs! Pictures will be posted on our gallery. The best news is that the BOB was a 3 point major so pending AKC announcement he is now GCH CH Jack Flash! Also I want to mention we also had Leoni aka Fifi as we try out names, tagging along. She wiggled and wagged her way into everyone’s hearts. Met up with a lot of fine people, wonderful old friends and some new ones too. Overall a lovely weekend with the dogs.
